Jo Hurley is a technology entrepreneur, trusted business coach/adviser, and motivational speaker.
Jo is best known for her success as CEO and founder of self-managed super fund audit business ENGAGE. From start-up to a highly publicized sale to Big 4 Deloitte, Jo gained a reputation for being a high-performance business leader with a talent for driving new technology and automation. It was in this role she was named Telstra Australian Young Business Woman of the Year.
Her latest business ventures involve using technology to transform very traditional industries. She is currently completing a Bachelor of Intelligent Diligent Technology at Griffith University with a major in new and emerging technologies.
Jo is regularly invited to work with fast growing businesses for her skills & expertise in innovation and technology, sales and marketing, vision and culture, and finance. These roles have ranged from Board positions, to contract roles and individual advice and coaching.
Jo’s career in finance has spanned more than two decades. Her education demonstrates her relentless commitment to improving and expanding her range of expertise. A chartered accountant by trade, Jo has built a highly successful professional portfolio, which culminated in being named 2017 Women in Finance “Woman of the Year”.
Jo brings a unique combination of a strong finance background coupled with a passion for technology, and a young and vibrant personality. This simply makes her one-of-a-kind.

Jo is a “digital nomad”. She works remotely from her home in Palm Beach QLD, but considers herself an airline commuter within easy reach of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Gold Coast airports.
